3 Stars - A beautiful setting for a wedding with some lovely details for the travel fiction fans. Other than the setting, this book seemed to have a bit of an identity crisis. I should be the same age as the main characters but they spent more "before" time than "after" and it felt like they were in college today not ten years ago. The whole book was one POV - Maddie, which I liked. She was the most reserved and therefore neutral of the group, sort of Nick Carraway narrator style. But she was almost too dumb or naive throughout most of the book. Probst has a great way of putting you in someone's shoes with ease. But Maddie wasn't very fun or mature. She's basically a lonely orphan who choses a pretty terrible circle of people. Good things: the settings, dialouge, and attention to detail felt very real. If you like your chick lit a little darker and more dramatic then most, give this a shot.
